How comments are handled
The Federal Register notice says agencies review every submission and may redact or withhold certain submissions, or parts of them. It also warns that comments may not be viewable until the agency approves them, so a filing may not appear right away.
Comments can be signed on behalf of an individual, an organization, or anonymously. Anyone who wants to weigh in can submit a comment here.
Companies planning to file may want to consult an industry trade association first.
