- 2The trustee said keeping them was burdensome to the estate.
- 3Roglieri pleaded guilty to wire fraud conspiracy; sentencing is set for March 11.
A US Bankruptcy Court has ordered five businesses released from the bankruptcy estate of Kris Roglieri and handed back to him. The order is dated Jan. 30, 2026.
The businesses
The entities returned are:
- FUPME, LLC
- Shark Ventures LLC
- Digital Marketing Training Group
- Commercial Capital Training Group
- National Alliance of Commercial Loan Brokers
The trustee's stated reason is that continuing to hold these non-debtor interests is burdensome to the estate.
Sale attempts and valuations
In a March 22, 2024 bankruptcy declaration, Roglieri valued the National Alliance of Commercial Loan Brokers at $1 million and Commercial Capital Training Group at $500,000. His interests are now returning to him at no cost.
Raharney Capital, LLC, the parent company of the publication that first reported the order, disclosed that it bid on two of the entities or assets and withdrew after the trustee attached conditions to a sale that it would not accept. It had also won an auction for the Commercial Capital Training Group trademark, but the trustee rescinded that sale, saying the item was auctioned in error. The trademark, though not the business, for the National Alliance of Commercial Loan Brokers was apparently sold to a third party.
Criminal case
Roglieri is held at the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility. He pleaded guilty to wire fraud conspiracy last November and faces up to 20 years in prison. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for March 11.
