Channel, a Minnetonka, Minnesota provider of equipment finance and working capital, announced on August 27, 2026 that it has promoted Cory Krogen, CLFP, to Head of Sales.
The role
Krogen will lead Channel's entire sales organization, covering new business development, partner and customer retention, and sales execution in both working capital and equipment finance. He will direct the national sales team and be responsible for deepening partner relationships of all sizes through product, program and pricing negotiations. He will also work with credit, portfolio management and executive leadership so sales stays aligned with the company's financial and compliance objectives.
A long tenure
Krogen joined Channel in 2010 as its fourth hire. He has been with the company through its move from working capital roots to an on-balance sheet independent lender, and through the launch of equipment finance. He became Director of Sales in 2020 and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales.
CEO Adam Peterson said he has known Krogen longer than Channel has existed and that Krogen earns trust "one conversation and one relationship at a time." Managing Director Ryan Schlenner said the sales team is ready to build on its momentum with Krogen at the helm. Krogen said he is proud to take the role and that the company will keep putting relationships with its people and partners at the center of its work.
Krogen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hamline University's School of Business and earned his CLFP designation in 2021.
