Channel announced on February 17, 2026 that Robert Moskovitz has joined as Chief Financial Officer and that Eli Sethre has been appointed President of Elite, a Channel business unit that partners with Independent Sales Organizations. The Minnetonka, Minnesota company framed the moves as adding leadership depth during a period of expansion.
The new CFO
Moskovitz will oversee financial strategy, with a focus on capital markets, liquidity and long-term growth, and will lead financial planning and analysis, funding initiatives and capital structure decisions. He most recently served as CFO of Verdant Commercial Capital, and before that spent 14 years as CFO of LEAF Commercial Capital, where he helped grow the business and raise capital.
Moskovitz has worked with policymakers and regulators on tax reform, financial regulation and lease accounting. He is a member of the board of directors of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association (ELFA) and serves on its Federal Tax Committee.
Channel CEO Adam Peterson said Moskovitz is widely respected for his experience and impact across the industry, and that his background arrives at a good time as Channel scales with discipline.
Sethre moves to Elite
Sethre joined Channel in 2016 as CFO, overseeing finance and accounting, risk analytics, portfolio management, servicing and reporting. Before that he founded aFundia, a data analytics and modeling firm, and held senior roles at CAN Capital in sales and marketing, finance and business planning, and risk analytics. After nearly a decade as CFO, he saw the move as a chance to broaden his experience through an operational role.
At Elite, which operates out of Kennesaw, Georgia, Sethre will lead working capital strategy: strengthening sales and operations, expanding the product offering and deepening relationships in its core markets. Elite is under new and independent ownership, and Channel says Sethre was key in identifying the opportunity. Peterson called him instrumental in building Channel's financial and operational foundation.
