- 1DailyFunder 2.0 is live in the Apple App Store, built in-house as a first-version beta.
- 2It includes forums, an activity feed, PMs, news headlines and a vendor directory.
- 3Android, reputation, in-app registration and profile editing are not yet available.
DailyFunder's iOS app is back. DailyFunder 2.0 is now available in the Apple App Store, a complete rebuild of the versions published there in 2013 and 2014.
Why it was gone
Apple's technical standards forced the earlier versions out of distribution by 2017, and no replacement followed. DailyFunder recently decided to reboot the app using in-house developers instead of a third party. Because it is the first release of the new version, the site asks users to treat it as a beta.
What is in the app
- The main forum categories
- The Activity Feed
- New threads and replies
- Private messages to other users
- Industry news headlines and links
- An advertiser and vendor directory
- Advertising
What is missing
- An Android app, which is on the to-do list
- The reputation feature
- In-app registration, which must be done on the web version
- Perfection; bugs are expected
- In-app profile editing, also on the to-do list
