- 3A class action filed two months ago accuses TomoCredit of negligent misrepresentation
TomoCredit has sued fintech journalist Jason Mikula for defamation and libel. The company, which calls itself a software company offering software aimed at financial literacy, says it suffered damages from statements Mikula published online about it. The complaint is public.
Mikula publishes Business Fintech Weekly, a widely read newsletter in the fintech space. He shared news of the lawsuit online.
A separate class action
TomoCredit is also a defendant in a case of its own. Two months ago, a class action lawsuit alleged the company engaged in negligent misrepresentation and other claims tied to its business. A law firm blog post covers that case.
