- 3Executives expect traditional lenders to tighten and say they will keep funding fast.
Fundfi Merchant Funding has expanded its credit facility for the second time this year. The New York-based revenue-based financing company announced the increase as it reports loan originations at record levels. The announcement did not give the size of the expansion or name the lenders.
What the company says
Fundfi says the larger facility will let it speed up funding for approved businesses, support bigger financing amounts for established companies, expand into new industry verticals and geographic markets, and keep rates competitive despite rising market interest rates.
CEO and co-founder Efraim Kandinov said the second expansion in a year shows the company's commitment to entrepreneurs. He said Fundfi is seeing strong momentum and wants to keep response times quick while serving a range of small-business needs in North America.
Outlook
CFO and co-founder Natasha Dillon said the company is bullish on growth in the North American small business footprint and expects tighter lending from traditional channels. She said Fundfi aims to be a reliable capital partner and to keep approvals and funding fast.
Fundfi, founded by Kandinov and Dillon, provides revenue-based financing to small and medium-sized businesses in the United States and Canada. The company aligns repayment with business cash flow, so owners pay more in strong months and less in slow ones, and positions the product as an alternative to traditional bank loans.
